Here We Are Again

The price of oil is affecting almost everything and everywhere people are cutting their marketing budgets. This should at the very least drive more on line marketing. Its more cost effective than tradditional channels and has a better reach. Reducing marketing spending when sales are dropping is obviously only going to speed up the downturn, with fewer $$ to spend and a reducing audience its critical to reach out and connect with your customers. Instead of reducing your budget to the point of being ineffective, try moving some of it towards online. You can still save plenty of money and at the same time keep promoting your products and services.

At times like these we all have to be a bit creative and find alternate ways to do business, digital is the best way. look at the content of your current website and update it, pull out some old banner ads are re run them, spend a few dollars on paid keyword advertising, check out your sites meta data and tags to update your SEO plans. partner with others to run complimentary online ads, join budgets together for co-op online advertising. There are many things you can do with some of your old online assets, drag them out and see what you have. Start a blog, the list is endless just don’t let the economy stop you advertising.
